Christmas 2009

Since Christmas was only three months ago I thought now would be a good time to post some pics... I wouldn't want to do it too soon after ;) We had a great Christmas this year. It was crazy to think that last Christmas we were going nuts moving into our apartment, getting ready to get married, and all that craziness. So it was nice this year to be a lot more relaxed, but we missed seeing Greg's family, A LOT. We spent Christmas weekend relaxing and spending time with the famsky. We even played mini-golf glow in the dark style, I didn't take any pics of that though... too bad.
We only got the one pic of Greg and I together but check out the hottie above, oow oww!
This is Classic Hez, I have only seen her make that face like one trillion times.

This year I spoiled Greg and got him an iTouch. A while back we were talking about our favorite childhood memories of Christmas and he was telling me about one year when he wanted a video game more than anything. Santa wrapped this video game in a several boxes so when he came out and looked at his presents he didn't see a package that looked small enough for the video game. A bit dissapointed he didn't get the game, he started unwrapping his last gift and realized after unwrapping box after box that it was the game. SO I decided to copy Santa and wrapped his iTouch in several boxes. He was completely SUPRISED! It was the GREATEST reaction ever!

The man LOVES containers, all sizes, all shapes! If it's a container he's gotta have it.

Cole was thrilled because he got the Lego hook up big time.

Noah was a sad because Cole tore down the wrapping paper doorway cover to the front room before he could help.

The men in the family enjoyed playing with Noah's gift from Greg and I more than Noah did.

Noah is so gangsta.

Halloween

We had a little Halloween party and carved up some pumpkins and ate my homemade yummy butternut squash soup.
My rad witch pumpkin

We went to a Kody & Dan's party the night before Halloween. Greg and I were of course Nacho Libre and Encarnacio. It was awesome...

4th of July

For the 4th I tagged along with Greg while he was working. He work the parade in the morning then we had a family BBQ and then he had to work at Riverton Days that evening. But we still got to watch some fireworks together.

Easter in Boise

Easter weekend we went to Idaho to see Heather and Greg. It was so much fun and we had lots of great food, thanks to Heath and Greg. One of the best parts was when my Dad and Heather's Greg were rowing the little boat and my dad fell out into the freezing cold river water.

Z-day

Greg & I celebrated our first V-day together this year. I have the best husband in the universe! He surprised me beautiful flowers, cute earrings, and a photography book. Then the best surprise of all was a DVD he made of all our pictures from day one of our dating to our honeymoon with all our songs on it. I was totally crying... it was the best gift ever. He took me to dinner at Taifoon and then let me look for as long as I wanted at Urban Outfitters :) He is the best!

Greg's B-day!

Feb. 7th was Greg's birthday and he claims it was the best birthday he's had. He got lots of nice presents and cards from family and friends. We just hung out in morning because he was so sick all week... so my plan to take him snowboarding was postponed to another day. Then that evening we went with some friends to the Draper temple open house and then to my parents for a meat candy party. I made him a patriots cake, which means I must adore the man because I am a hater when it comes to the patriots. It was a really fun day and he's already counting down the days till his next b-day b/c it will be on the super bowl.

B-fast with a fake

Greg, Coley, and I woke up way too earlier last Saturday and went to have breakfast with a fake Santa. Cole was SO SO excited to go see Santa that we made a game plan before we got there. I was to ask Santa how he got there and if we could go to the North Pole with him and stop and pick up Grandma to come with. We also brought him cookies and when we got there Cole wanted to do anything but see Santa cause he saw that he wasn't the REAL Santa. We still had a lot of fun and had to drag Coley to get in this picture and he REFUSED to talk to Santa. I think we have watched Elf one too many times... "You smell like beef and cheese, you don't smell like Santa."
