This weekend I found out another member of my family was diagnosed with this ugly disease. My aunt T was so strong when I went to see her. She was the one comforting everyone. I am still in awe of the strength she showed yesterday. I find it so fitting that the color for the ribbon is purple. My grandma's favorite color was purple and we all wore purple to her funeral and let purple balloons go at her graveside.
